About me

Jaime is no stranger to ballet and hip hop, having started training in these forms since the age of 4. With her passion to perform, she set her mind on learning contemporary dance in CHIJ Secondary's IJ Dance Ensemble (IJDE). She also has received distinctions in the Royal Academy of Dance graded exam syllabus (Classical Ballet), as well as distinctions in Commonwealth Society Of Teachers of Dancing graded exam syllabus (Jazz).

Presently, Jaime is pursuing her dance education in the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts's diploma programme. She has worked with choreographers such as Jeffrey Tan, Zaki Ahmad, Gillian Tan, Yarra Ileto, Norisham Osman and Supatchai Lappakornkul. In addition, she represented IJDE in the Singapore Youth Festival 2017 and was awarded Distinction, as well as scoring silver in the Asia Arts Festival 2021.

Dance making and analysing performances are where her interests lie. She hopes to venture into choreography and dance writing, and aims to continuously hone her skills in these areas.
